Naturopathic Care is Different

Naturopathic Care is Different 〰️

This is not a quick-fix approach.

Have you ever left an appointment feeling like important parts of your story weren’t explored?

Naturopathic care takes a more thorough approach. Time is taken to understand the full picture of your health, not just the symptoms you came in with.

This means looking at underlying drivers, contributing factors, previous health history, current stressors, medication effects, and your long-term health goals.

Appointments include detailed case analysis, clinical reasoning, and personalised treatment planning to ensure care is structured, considered, and individualised.Care may include:

• functional pathology interpretation
• microbiome testing
• metabolic and hormonal assessment
• practitioner-only supplements
• dietary and lifestyle strategy
• compounding where required

Online Consultation Options

A short, no-pressure conversation to explore whether naturopathic care may be helpful for your health concerns.

Many people book a discovery call if they are unsure where to begin, have complex symptoms, or want to understand how the consultation process works before committing to an appointment.

During the call we can discuss:

• your main symptoms
• whether your concerns fit within my clinical focus
• how consultations are structured
• whether testing may be useful
• which appointment type to book

This call is brief and does not replace a consultation, but it helps ensure you feel comfortable and confident about the next step.

Pathology Results Review

Pathology interpretation is a thorough, functional review of your blood and other lab results, with a focus on how your body is actually working, not just what falls inside or outside a “normal” range. I look for patterns, trends, and early imbalances that may be contributing to your gut, immune, skin, metabolic, or hormonal symptoms, so your results become a meaningful part of your treatment plan rather than just numbers on a page.

If you have recent test results available before your first appointment, I can review them as part of your initial consultation. If your results come later, or you’d like a more in-depth review, pathology interpretation can also be booked as an add-on service for follow-up visits. Fees are structured to reflect the extra time required to carefully assess your results outside of the standard consultation, ensuring you receive clear explanations and practical next steps.

Pathology Referral

This add-on service is designed to support truly integrated care by helping you access the right medical or allied health support at the right time. Together, we draw on your case history, current symptoms, and treatment goals to determine which referrals or investigations are likely to be most helpful.

Outside of the initial consultation (where this is already included), an additional fee applies to reflect the time required to carefully review your clinic notes, consider appropriate referral options, and outline recommended testing pathways. You’ll receive a clear, concise summary that you can share with your GP or other practitioners, helping everyone involved in your care work from the same page and move more efficiently toward answers and solutions.

Microbiome Testing

Deep Dive into Your Gut Health

Your gut microbiome plays a central role in digestion, immunity, skin health, metabolism, and even mood. When it’s out of balance, it can show up as bloating, irregular bowels, fatigue, brain fog, skin flares, or stubborn hormone and metabolic issues.

To better understand what’s really happening in your gut, I offer advanced microbiome testing using the Microbiome Explorer range developed by Microba, leaders in metagenomic gut analysis.

Microbiome Explorer Comprehensive

For clients, I use the Microbiome Explorer Comprehensive test ($549). This is one of the most in-depth gut assessments available and is particularly helpful if you’ve had ongoing symptoms without clear answers.

This assessment looks at:

  • A detailed microbial profile, including bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses

  • Microbial diversity and balance within your gut ecosystem

  • Functional pathways such as short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) production, vitamin synthesis, and inflammatory pathways

It also includes key gut health biomarkers, such as:

  • Zonulin for intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”)

  • Calprotectin and lactoferrin for gut inflammation

  • Secretory IgA for mucosal immune function

  • Pancreatic elastase for digestive enzyme capacity

  • Occult blood and faecal pH

This test is especially suited to people with complex, chronic, or unresolved concerns such as IBS, IBD, autoimmune conditions, fatigue, skin issues, or mood changes. Together, we use these results to guide a targeted, personalised treatment plan to support your gut and whole-body health.
