1. Professional Scope of Practice

Kim Brown Natural Health provides naturopathic clinical services, nutritional advice, and herbal medicine dispensing.

• Naturopathic care is intended to support the body’s natural healing mechanisms, optimize metabolic and hormonal health, and support the nervous system.

• Services and advice provided do not replace conventional medical treatment, diagnosis, or emergency medical care.

• It is not within our scope of practice to recommend the initiation, alteration, or cessation of pharmaceutical medications or medical therapies (such as Hormone Replacement Therapy). Any adjustments to medical prescriptions must be managed solely by your prescribing medical practitioner.

2. Between-Session Client Communication Policy

To ensure clinical safety, maintain the integrity of your treatment plan, and provide the highest standard of dedicated care, strict communication boundaries apply between scheduled consultations.

• Administrative Support: Brief administrative queries (such as appointment bookings, clarifying an existing dosage instruction, or reporting an immediate adverse reaction) are permitted via email and will be responded to within 48 business hours.

• Clinical Updates and Troubleshooting: Detailed symptom updates, the analysis of new pathology or blood results, and requests to alter or troubleshoot your protocol cannot be managed via email, text, or phone outside of scheduled appointments.

• Action Required: If a query requires clinical review, data analysis, or a change to your treatment plan, you will be required to book a dedicated consultation or acute support session so it can receive proper clinical focus.

3. Integrative Care and Treatment Co-Management

We firmly believe in collaborative healthcare and work alongside general practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals to achieve the best outcomes for you.

• Transparency: You agree to fully disclose all current medications, medical diagnoses, supplements, and concurrent treatments on your intake form and during consultations.

• Protocol Alterations: If another healthcare provider suggests altering, stopping, or adding to the natural medicine protocol prescribed by this clinic, you agree to notify us prior to making the change.

• Inter-Practitioner Collaboration: To minimize patient stress and eliminate conflicting advice, you authorize Kim Brown Natural Health to communicate directly with your other healthcare providers (practitioner-to-practitioner) when necessary. If a protocol must be paused due to conflicting advice or upcoming medical testing, we will use that time constructively to identify targeted diagnostic updates required by your medical team to safely align your care.

4. Financial Terms, Budget, and Prescription Fees

• Consultation Fees: Fees for consultations are due at the time of booking or immediately at the conclusion of your appointment, as specified by our booking system.

• Prescription Budgeting: We endeavor to respect your realistic monthly prescription budget inside the consultation room. You agree to be upfront about your financial parameters during your session so your protocol can be designed accordingly.

• Out-of-Session Reformulations: Requests to reformulate a treatment plan, source cheaper alternatives, or alter a prescription after your consultation has concluded require a clinical review and will incur a triage/dispensing fee if managed outside of an appointment.

• Dispensing: Herbs and nutrients are dispensed explicitly for the individual client under active care and must not be shared with others. Prescriptions are non-refundable once dispensed.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.

• A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments (no-shows), will incur a cancellation fee equal to [Insert Percentage, e.g., 50% or 100%] of the consultation fee.

• Exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the clinic’s discretion.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your information will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law or as authorized by you for integrative care coordination.

7. Intellectual Property

All treatment plans, educational handouts, dietary resources, and digital materials provided to you during your care remain the intellectual property of Kim Brown Natural Health. They are provided solely for your personal educational use and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed publicly.

8. Limitation of Liability

While every clinical effort is made to ensure the safety and efficacy of your treatment plan, health outcomes are dependent on unique biological, lifestyle, and genetic factors. Kim Brown Natural Health cannot guarantee specific health outcomes. By signing these terms, you acknowledge that you take full responsibility for implementing your treatment plan and notifying the clinic immediately of any changes to your health status.
